The Winter Skin Care Regimen

Its that time of the year when your skin needs the most care & while using certain products in your skin care regimen is absolutely necessary but nothing can match the nourishment that is provided by the natural ingredients. Just like your food preferences, clothing, leisure activities etc. change with the different seasons, your skin care regimen also needs to change! I have put together certain natural face packs that are apt for this season & are also very cost effective.

In addition to these natural masks, its important that you replace your summer products with hydrating winter products & find the right balance for your skin. I always encourage trying samples before buying the full sized products & I’ve suggested some of my favorite winter products below for all skin types!

Before we dive into the details, here are some quick tips to make your skin naturally beautiful by following some simple skin rules:

• Do not ditch the Sun Screen in Winters!! Even if its cloudy outside, the harmful UV rays are always present & you can even opt for a day cream with light SPF.
• Use a humidifier in your house to maintain good humidity levels as the constant indoor heat affects your skin quality a lot.
• Replace your face wash with creamier wash/cleanser as your winter skin care needs are different from other seasons. Do not use extra hot water to wash your face as it will dry out your skin.
• Always remove your makeup before sleeping as your skin needs to breathe and even if you’re tired after a long day, makeup removal is of utmost importance.
• Don’t forget to hydrate your lips and keep a chap stick handy at all times! My favorites are Moroccan Magic, Burts & Bees & Vaseline products.
