I decided to make my shopping experience in London a little adventurous and go out of my comfort zone when buying outfits, and style them my way!

As soon as I stepped out of the Bond Street Underground station to Oxford Street, I asked…Now Where’s my Genie? 😉
Oxford street is an absolute delight for Shopaholics like me and there is so much to explore! I’m sharing the Zara excerpt from my Shopping diaries in London and how I styled Zara’s clothes to suit my body type. As much as I love Zara’s designs, I haven’t always found them easily compatible with my personal style and hence I decided to style them in a way that makes me feel confident and also got to wear the designs I like!

I got this pretty High-Low Orange top and styled it with white shorts which made it a lovely summer combination to be worn as a casual attire but chic style. I don’t always prefer shorts too tight on thighs but these ones have a lovely frill hem which made me comfortable wearing them. I paired this outfit with white wedges from DSW, Ralph Lauren aviators & a Michael Kors Flora Appliqué Ginny Medium Messenger shoulder bag.

I wore this outfit for an entire day in New York while vacationing with my Family and never felt uncomfortable, and not to mention the pictures turned out bring and colorful!

The next top I picked was a hot pink knot style crop top. I’m usually very conscious wearing crop tops and wasn’t very sure how I would carry it, but pairing it with black high waisted pants really helped. I’m also not a huge fan of baggy pants but these seemed to fit me really well and didn’t make me look too baggy. Pink floral high heels from DSW and a cute pink Zara sling bag were perfect additions to this attire.

I decided to honor the comeback that tinted sunglasses have made and adorned this look with Ray-ban tinted round glasses and loved this experiment! This was again an easy to carry look that can be worn on a day out comfortably.

Those pants look familiar, right?!! I am in love with these pants and combined them with another short top from Zara but this time the top was baggy as well (not a fan of short baggy tops either), so this broad brown leather belt from Express was a germane choice which gave this outfit a structure.

I absolutely enjoyed picking up these pieces and blending them together to create outfits that represent me the best! So next time, if you feel that you don’t really like wearing a particular style, think twice and see how you can customize it according to your own self and I’m sure you’ll rock the outfit!
