We hosted our Holiday Party/Brunch a little earlier as we may be traveling soon & the snow covered trees outside added to our indoor Christmas Vibes! I am sharing some high level details here and I have a Reel that covers the video and I’ll make sure to post the recipes as soon as possible as well 🙂
The most important thing is to decide your guest list at least 3 weeks in advance & request RSVPs at least 2 weeks before the party, so you can plan accordingly & ensure that you’ll get things shipped in time if you need to order anything. Right now, all the stores are full of Holiday/Christmas stuff, so you should be okay either ways 🙂
Most important thing at a Holiday Party (or any party really) is the Food. Make sure you know the dietary restrictions of your guests (if any) and plan accordingly. Here is what our Menu looked like for the Party:
- Bagel Egg Bake – Recipe coming soon on Instagram
- Mac & Cheese with Jalapeños for Adults
- Plain Mac & Cheese for the Kids
- French Toast Bake – Recipe coming soon on Instagram
- Avocado Toast with Cherry tomatoes
- Cheese Board
- Pancake Board
- Butter Board with Garlic Toasts
- Parfait Bar
- Fruit Sticks
- Cookies
- Hot Chocolate Bar
- Christmas Punch
- Blended Hot Coffee
I chose two recipes that I could assemble the night before & just bake it in the morning. That makes the morning of the brunch a little easier 🙂 Also, having ‘Make your own’ stations are always helpful!
I used Cheddar, Pepper jack & Monterey jack cheese cubes, Cherry Tomatoes, Grapes, Raspberries & Rosemary for this board.
We served Garlic Toasts (from Cub Foods) with this Butter Board and this combination was a hit! We used Kerrygold butter at room temperature and sprinkled some Kosher salt, Crushed Red pepper, Onion slices, Garlic Salt, Lemon Zest, Edible rose petals (for color) & Rosemary to this board.
These mini pancakes were perfect for a board. You can either make them at home or buy from Costco/Cub Foods from frozen section. I added some Berries, Nutella, Peanut Butter, Jelly & Maple Syrup to this board.
These cute Christmas fruit sticks on Skewers are perfect for kids (make sure you keep the pointed part of the skewer down).
Hot Chocolate Bar is a must for any Christmas/Holiday Party. We had an electric kettle for the water & a dispenser for the hot milk (not pictured here). I used this cute Sleigh for Hot Chocolate sachets and linking similar ones at the end of this Blog Post. The toppings included: Peppermint Crunch, Mini Marshmallows, Truffles/Pralines, Chocolate Spoons & Candy Canes. Also linking the Holiday cups at the end.
Parfait bar was a hit with Vanilla Non-Fat Greek Yogurt and toppings were: Strawberries , Blueberries , Raspberries , Oats & Honey Granola & Boba Balls (I got the boba balls from Freeziac). Will link disposable parfait cups & mini spoons below.
Notice How I added the Christmas icing toppings to this French Toast bake to give it a Holiday touch 🙂 The Recipe will come soon on my Instagram Reels. This is one of the recipes that you can prepare the night before and just bake it in the morning.
This is my Bagel Egg Bake Casserole but I forgot to take a picture from this year, so this is from a previous brunch. Recipe coming soon 🙂 You can prepare it the night before & just bake it in the morning as well 🙂
You have to look at my Reel to see this amazing Mimosa concept! I’ll link the round Ice trays below.
Lastly, Our Christmas Punch was a perfect blend of all the Christmas elements (Cranberry, Orange & Pomegranate Juice, Sprite, Lime Soda/Sparkling water, Fresh cranberries, Oranges, Pomegranates seeds, Cinnamon stick & Rosemary with lots of Ice)!
We also hired a Santa for 2 hours via GigSalad and the kids had a lot of fun. I also got some small gifts for the kids that Santa handed out to them which made it a magical experience for them <3
