Style and Spring!

Spring is literally a ‘State of Mind’ for Minnesotans with winters & snow storms stretching up until April & sometimes even May…But when we do get some lovely Spring days, we make most out of them! I am really excited for this season and can’t wait to be out in the sun without layering. To ensure my excitement doesn’t get wiped out by all the snow in the weather forecast this week, I went on a Spring shopping spree and styled an outfit last weekend which I wanted to share with you all…

I rarely opt for wide legged pants but couldn’t resist when I saw these pleated pants at Zara, they were flowy, stylish and made me want to try something new! I right away started exploring options to pair them with and instantly thought about a long jacket & fitted top with a contrast. That’s when I eyed this bright yellow, very springy ribbed top & I had already started accessorizing it by the time I went to try it on 😉

I have a few long jackets and would have probably styled this combination with one them but it was just my lucky day…& I came across this sassy waist coat & grabbed it right away! Love the details with the strings on the side and the little furs give it a chic look!

Rest of it was all accessorizing…A tan yellow bag that I bought from Zara a few months back & the very trendy tassel earrings were my favorites. I also added a layered black neckpiece to finish this look & tadaa….My Chic Style Spring Outfit was ready!
