Fall Look-Book 2019!
Fall is the most colorful season & is a pure bliss for humankind! We’re lucky to experience such a magical season around us…PSLs & Pumpkin patches, colorful leaves & sweet breeze…Fall is a season which requires the most thoughtful styling in our opinion and pushes you to go outside your comfort zone because you’re looking for those layers while still being able to show off a little skin!
Being 5’2″, we always contemplated if High knee boots would suit us, if we should stick to dresses and not go for body hugging skirts and a lot more! Not saying we don’t think about what suits our body type now, but we’ve certainly pushed ourselves far enough to try newer styles! Although its Jacket weather in Minnesota already, we still might get a few nice Fall days & obviously we cater to our audience outside of Minnesota too 😉
Our First look was a warm velvet brown skirt from Macys paired with a reversible Cami from Express. Given that Minnesota has a comparatively chilly Fall, we added brown high knee boots from Amazon & a duster cardigan from Macys!
If you experience a warmer fall season where you live, you can style this look with Booties & a lighter cardigan, although this one was pretty light too!
Our second look was inspired by a summer look that we styled while we were in Lisbon & was also from Express! We added black high knee boots from Amazon & a grey floral cardigan from Kohls to keep it close to monochromatic but also added a floral element! The hat was a last minute addition but we do think adding that hat made it a super chic look for this season!
Coming to the looks which were fairly simple to style and just needed a touch of Fall & Summer mix! The first dress was our pick purely because we wanted something Rust in our wardrobe for this season and we were lucky to find this dress in Macys Juniors’ section 😉 We really wanted to style it with our Snake Print booties too but completely forgot to shoot with them but we have another look coming soon on the gram with them!
The second dress look is probably purely for places with warmer Fall but would also work for some nice fall days in MN and around! Its more of a summer dress that we paired with high knee boots and would have added a white cardigan if needed but it was a nice day in MN and we didn’t need one 😉
