Not your style? Make it one!
We decided to make our shopping experience in London a little adventurous and go out of our comfort zone when buying outfits, and style them our way!
As soon as we stepped out of the Bond Street Underground station to Oxford Street, we asked…Now Where’s our Genie? 😉
Oxford street is an absolute delight for Shopaholics like us and there is so much to explore! We’re sharing the Zara excerpt from our Shopping diaries in London and how we styled Zara’s clothes to suit our body type. As much as we love Zara’s designs, we haven’t always found them easily compatible with our personal style and hence we decided to style them in a way that feels confident while still wearing the designs we like!

We got this pretty High-Low Orange top and styled it with white shorts which made it a lovely summer combination to be worn as a casual attire but chic style. We don’t always prefer shorts too tight on the thighs but these ones have a lovely frill hem which made them comfortable to wear. We paired this outfit with white wedges from DSW, Ralph Lauren aviators & a Michael Kors Flora Appliqué Ginny Medium Messenger shoulder bag.

We wore this outfit for an entire day in New York while vacationing as a Family and never felt uncomfortable, and not to mention the pictures turned out bring and colorful!

The next top we picked was a hot pink knot style crop top. We’re usually very conscious wearing crop tops and weren’t very sure how to carry it, but pairing it with black high waisted pants really helped. We’re also not huge fans of baggy pants but these seemed to fit really well and didn’t look too baggy. Pink floral high heels from DSW and a cute pink Zara sling bag were perfect additions to this attire.

We decided to honor the comeback that tinted sunglasses have made and adorned this look with Ray-ban tinted round glasses and loved this experiment! This was again an easy to carry look that can be worn on a day out comfortably.

Those pants look familiar, right?!! We are in love with these pants and combined them with another short top from Zara but this time the top was baggy as well (not a fan of short baggy tops either), so this broad brown leather belt from Express was a germane choice which gave this outfit a structure.
We absolutely enjoyed picking up these pieces and blending them together to create outfits that represent us the best! So next time, if you feel that you don’t really like wearing a particular style, think twice and see how you can customize it according to your own self and we’re sure you’ll rock the outfit!
